Windsor, ON – February 16, 2016 – Windsor / Essex County donors were on fire when it came to raising funds for Grow On. The 2015 campaign, administered by the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, has raised a whopping $219,545 in support of local prostate cancer patients and their treatment.

“The key word that makes us different – local. We want to make sure that the funds raised in support of searching for a cure; and treating this horrible disease are being used right here – in our home town,” says Houida Kassem, Manager and Director of Development for the Foundation. “Our donors really came through for us – and for each other. I couldn’t be more proud of the people of Windsor and Essex County.”

Special Thanks

The Windsor Cancer Centre would like to thank all of the donors who supported the campaign’s success – including our local individual heroes, company donor teams, and other fundraising organizations. Additionally, the Foundation would like to thank our campaign sponsors: Lisa and Brian Schwab, The WFCU Credit Union, as well as Pendopharm.
