DESCRIPTION:Donate $500 to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in exchange for a giant pumpkin and a chance to compete in the Best Pumpkin Contest. \nTo Participate\, visit https://fundrazr.com/Carve4Cancer2025 \nThe participating businesses carve\, decorate\, or paint their giant pumpkins\, then deliver them to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. The patients and staff of the Cancer Centre judge the pumpkins and vote for their favourite using a paper ballot system\, and the general public can also cast their vote online via Facebook. The pumpkins with the most ballot votes or likes will be crowned the 2025 Best Pumpkin Contest winners! \n\nThis is our 8th anniversary event\, we want to hit a major milestone! The goal is to raise $10\,000 this year\, and in doing so\, reach a grand total of $85\,000 raised over the past eight years of running Carve 4 Cancer! \n \nWays to Win:\n\nSimilar to last year\, there will be four award categories: \n\nPatient/Staff Vote: via in-person paper ballots\nCompany/Public Vote: via an online Facebook liking system (1 ‘like’ = 1 vote)\nJudges’ Award: collective decision of a surprise local celebrity judge panel\nHighest Fundraiser Award: every participant will receive a personal donation link to forward to friends and family.
