DESCRIPTION:Donate $500 to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in exchange for a giant pumpkin and a chance to compete in the Best Pumpkin Contest. \nTo Participate\, visit https://fundrazr.com/Carve4Cancer2024 \nThe participating businesses carve\, decorate\, or paint their giant pumpkins\, then deliver them to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. The patients and staff of the Cancer Centre judge the pumpkins and vote for their favourite using a paper ballot system\, and the general public can also cast their vote online via Facebook. The pumpkins with the most ballot votes or likes will be crowned the 2022 Best Pumpkin Contest winners! \n \nAs this is our 6th anniversary event\, we want it to be our best event yet! The goal is to raise $10\,000 this year\, and in doing so\, reach a grand total of $60\,000 raised over the past six years of running Carve 4 Cancer! \nWays to Win: \nTo make this year even bigger and better than ever\, there will be four award categories: \n1. Patient/Staff Vote: via in-person paper ballots \n2. Company/Public Vote: via an online Facebook liking system (1 ‘like’ = 1 vote) \n3. Judges’ Award: collective decision of a surprise local celebrity judge panel \n4. Highest Fundraiser Award: every participant will receive a personal donation link to forward to friends and family. The participant with the most raised beyond their $500 entry fee wins!
