DESCRIPTION:Go for the WIN with Albert is a community-wide pizza fundraiser supporting the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in honour of Albert Doumouchelle from Wincity Pizza Reviews\, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. \nThe campaign is organized by Shawn Rizk (Windsor Food Spotters)\, Jen Brignall-Strong (Tailgate Takeout)\, Nina Ngo\, and Layan Bee\, bringing together pizzerias from across Windsor-Essex to support local cancer care and celebrate one of the things our area is best known for: pizza. \nThroughout August\, participating pizzerias will donate $2 from every pizza sold to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in Albert’s honour. DESCRIPTION:For nearly three decades\, the Joe Hogan Memorial Golf Day has brought our community together in memory of Joe Hogan\, raising more than $1 million for the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. \nThis year’s Golf Day takes place on Thursday\, September 10\, at three Windsor-Essex golf clubs: Ambassador Golf Club\, Pointe West Golf Club\, and Roseland Golf & Curling Club\, with dinner to follow at the Giovanni Caboto Club. Limited spaces remain at Roseland Golf & Curling Club. Dinner-only tickets are also available for purchase.
