To honour him\, Big Daddy’s Cheescake Co. will be open and selling 54 slices of Big Daddy’s OG favourite flavour and breakfast specialty… PEANUT BUTTER BACON! \n \nBig Daddy\, also known as Chris\, started baking cheesecakes for every birthday\, holiday and event for his family throughout their lives. After being told many\, many times to share his talent with others\, he started Big Daddy’s Cheesecake Co. in Taber\, Alberta\, back in 2021.Big Daddy fought a very hard battle against cancer\, neuroendocrine carcinoma\, and was taken far too soon in January 2024.After his passing\, his family moved back to Windsor-Essex County and decided to keep his legacy going by opening up another shop across the country from the first location. Please join us in celebrating his birthday\, April 22\, from 12pm-6pm in store! \nIn addition\, we will be donating a percentage of our sales to contribute to cancer research and help others.

SUMMARY:Last Day to Apply - Jason Thomas Memorial Scholarship
DESCRIPTION:The Jason Thomas Memorial Scholarship will provide an annual scholarship ($500 x 4) to be shared among successful applicants. The Scholarship Selection Committee will choose the successful applicants from all qualified applicants based upon the following primary criteria: \n\n\nThe student must have experienced the impact of cancer either personally or within his/her immediate family.\nThe student must be a graduate/graduating from a secondary school within Windsor-Essex.\nThe student must be accepted and registered in a recognized post-secondary program.\nThe student must have limited financial resources.\n\n\nIf you are selected as a successful applicant\, you will have to attend the cheque presentation ceremony to receive your scholarship cheque. \n\nLast Day to Apply is May 22nd
