Concerts For A Cure Supports The Dignity Robes Program and Grow On Windsor
Windsor ON – The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation is honoured to receive funding from the Caesars Windsor Cares, 2024 Concerts for a Cure campaign. Proceeds from October and November ticket sales to all shows taking place at The Colosseum will benefit the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. This year, funds raised will support both Grow On Windsor and the Dignity Robes Program.
Grow On Windsor is the signature campaign of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, held every fall. During this time, our generous community grows out their facial hair, and rallies friends, family, and coworkers; teaming up to raise funds. This year, funds raised will support the purchase of the DaVinci Xi Surgical Robot.
The Dignity Robes program provides specially designed gowns that give patients more privacy and coverage during radiation treatment. Caesars Windsor recognizes the importance of supporting world-class cancer care close to home and is raising funds to support two vital programs for our cancer community.
“Cancer is a diagnosis requiring an extensive network of support to conquer,” said Sandra Bohn, Director of Marketing & Retail Operations, Caesars Windsor.“ It has affected many in our community, including our own employees and their friends and families. With this donation, we are grateful to know our support will provide comfort for radiation therapy patients and vital equipment for local cancer care.”
