Concerts For A Cure Doubles Down On Supporting Cancer Care In Our Region

Caesars Windsor Cares Presents Concerts For A Cure

The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation will receive funding from Concerts for a Cure Campaign thanks to the generosity of Caesars Windsor. Proceeds from October and November ticket sales will support the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation and its two signature campaigns: Grow On Windsor and Lock Out Cancer. Caesars Windsor recognizes the importance of supporting the mission of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, which is driven by a promise to serve our cancer community.
More specifically, funds will support the purchase of a Bladder Scanner, and provide funding for Robes for Radiation.

Data obtained through the Bladder Scanner assists with planning appropriate treatment for prostate cancer patients and is a quality predictor of post-operative complications.

Robes for Radiation are beautifully made robes hand crafted right here in our community by a group of very talented volunteers. These robes provide privacy and dignity for women undergoing radiation for breast cancer.

“We are honoured to partner with Caesars Windsor on this initiative. Their commitment to local cancer care speaks to the importance of supporting those in our community diagnosed with cancer,” Said Houida Kassem, Executive Director of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. “It is evident by their support and generosity that Caesars Windsor Cares.”

“Cancer affects all of us; whether it is a personal battle or that of a family member, friend or coworker,” said Tim Trombley, Director of Entertainment, Caesars Windsor. “One of the organizations at the forefront in our community is the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation and we are pleased that proceeds from the funds raised will go towards their programs.”
