Carve 4 Cancer 2026

Since 2018, local student Lindsey Bareich has organized Carve 4 Cancer, a fundraiser that gives local businesses the chance to sponsor a giant pumpkin and compete in the Best Pumpkin Contest. The friendly competition brings plenty of smiles to patients, caregivers, and visitors at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre while supporting world-class cancer care close to home.

This year, Lindsey is raising $15,000 for the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation to bring her 9-year fundraising total to $100,000. Help support her goal by donating here.

Now it’s your turn: vote for your favourite pumpkin to help determine the winner of the Best Pumpkin Contest!

Vote in-person:

1. Visit the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, located at 2220 Kildare Rd in Windsor.
2. Pick up your FREE tickets from the volunteer desk.
3. Place your tickets in the tin(s) of your favourite pumpkin(s).

Vote online:

1. Visit the Carve 4 Cancer gallery on the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation’s Facebook page.
2. “Like” the photo(s) of your favourite pumpkins(s).

Voting closes Friday, October 30th at noon. Winners will be announced at 3 PM!
