Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation Recipient Of Inspiration 100TM Grant

Windsor ON – The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation is the recipient of the WindsorEssex Community Foundation’s Inspire 100TM grant, valued at $15,000.

The funding will be used to educate approximately 40 nurses in the Windsor Regional Cancer Program to improve their skill development in the workforce and allow them better access to educational opportunities. This funded project will allow nurses the ability to obtain education that would improve their skills in the workforce and improve patient care, free of charge.

This project will impact approximately 4,200 patients.

Grants given on behalf of the Inspiration 100TM Association and the Inspiration 100TM Endowment Fund held at the WECF are to contribute to the well-being of our community and to help support local charities in Windsor-Essex achieve their mission and to help assist them in making Windsor-Essex County an even better place to live, work, play and grow.
