Together, Let’s Grow On for Local Cancer Care
Grow On Windsor is a signature fundraising campaign of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. Launched in 2014, the campaign encourages men in our community to grow facial hair throughout November to raise funds to support local cancer care.
While we love the beards, Grow On Windsor is for everyone! Whether you’re growing facial hair or not, there are plenty of ways to get involved, have some fun, and make a difference.
Rally your friends, family or coworkers, register as an individual or team, collect pledges, join our Head-to-Head Challenge, or partner with a local business to host a fun fundraising event or promotion. However you choose to Grow On, 100% of funds raised stay local, supporting cancer care right here in our community.

Impact of Your Donation
To continue providing the highest standard of care, the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre is renovating one of its radiation treatment bunkers to be equipped with state-of-the-art advanced imaging technology.
With patient volumes continuing to grow, these advancements will allow the Windsor Regional Cancer Program to
meet the demand, reduce wait times, and ensure patients continue to receive the cutting-edge care they need,
when they need it most.
Your voice and passion are the driving force to make this vision a reality.
How to Participate
Encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to team together in support of world-class cancer care close to home. Whether you have a personal connection to cancer, are seeking meaningful team-building opportunities, love a bit of friendly competition, or want to host your own event, there’s many meaningful ways for you to join our fundraising community.

Like us, you too are driven by a passion to serve our cancer community.
Perhaps you’re ready to grow a beard, or shave a beard, or some other funny gimmick to raise funds. Maybe you get a kick out of seeing your name on the leader board. Perhaps you want to share compelling stories to raise funds for Grow On Windsor.
Whatever your method, you feel connected to Grow On Windsor, and it’s important to you that funds stay local and support cancer patients in our community.
You want to rally the troops! Your goal is to build morale as well as raise funds for cancer patients in our community.
Maybe you want to host a dance-a-thon or create a human chain with all your supporters? Perhaps raising funds during staff lunches or ‘dress down days’ are what motivates you or your team to raise funds.
So, a little friendly competition (and polite smack-talk of course) is what motivates you! Compete in fun challenges while raising funds.
Maybe you want to challenge yourself (and others) to push-ups for pledges, or stand on one foot for as long as humanly possible? Perhaps you want to host a race, a lip syncing competition, or who can last the longest on the dreaded rowing machine… You are driven by the idea of competing against others knowing that, in the end, all funds stay local and support cancer patients in our community.
You enjoy getting together with friends, so why not add a fundraising element to your November activities to support Grow On Windsor?
Do you regularly host Poker Night at your place? Have a desire to run a Trivia Night with your friends? Create fun events and social interactions with your friends while raising funds to support cancer awareness, research, and treatment for patients in our community.
