Our cancer community is in need of a new DaVinci Surgical Robot. The DaVinci Xi allows surgeons to operate with greater vision, range of motion, precision, and stability than ever before. Team Up For Grow On Windsor this year and raise funds in support of this vital technology.
The DaVinci Surgical Robot is a critical component for the treatment and care of local cancer patients including treatment for prostate and kidney cancers.

Transform Patient Care With The DaVinci Surgical Robot
The DaVinci Surgical Robot is used to perform robotic assisted, minimally invasive surgery for local cancer patients. The new DaVinci Xi extends the capabilities of a surgeon’s eyes by delivering 3D-High-Definition views, magnified at 10 times what the human eye can see. This medical marvel also extends the capabilities of a surgeon’s hands, using only tiny instruments inside the patient that are controlled by the surgeon adjacent to the operating table.
The Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation is raising funds in collaboration with the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation to support the purchase of this cutting edge surgical robot for our community.

The DaVinici Surgical Robot is a revolutionary operating room tool that completely transforms the surgeon and patient experience. The benefits of having the DaVinci Xi extends beyond the operating room, positively impacting the Windsor Regional Cancer Program, as well as patient families and caregivers in our community.
Transforming Capabilities For Our Cancer Team
Surgeons trained to perform operative treatment with the DaVinci Xi experience superior vision, enhanced dexterity, and greater precision. Additionally, our care team has access to greater training and analytics, and works in a more ergonomic environment.
What Is Grow On Windsor?
Grow On Windsor is a signature campaign of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. Launched in 2014, men from our community would participate in Grow On Windsor by disregarding their shaving regimen, and growing a beard to raise awareness and funds for local cancer care. While we love the beards, Grow On Windsor is also an opportunity to team up and raise funds through friendly competition and month long promotions.
Encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to team up with you in support of cancer patients in our community. Create a fundraising team here, and throughout the month of November, use fun and creative ways to raise funds and support world class cancer care close to home. Your team can also join the head to head challenge! Choose your competitor (or we can help!) and see who will raise the most funds! Earn bragging rights while supporting patients in our community.
