Together, Let’s Grow the Future of Local Cancer Care
Grow On Windsor is a signature campaign of the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation that takes place each November. Launched in 2014, men from our community participate by disregarding their shaving regimen, and growing a beard to raise funds and awareness for local cancer care.
While we love the beards, Grow On Windsor is also an opportunity for anyone to team up and raise funds through friendly competition and month long promotions.
Encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to team up and raise funds throughout the month of November. Choose fun and creative ways to encourage donations, join our Head to Head Challenge, or partner with a local organization to create a fun event or promotion.

Impact of Your Donation
Now that the 4th Radiation Bunker is fully operational, we need to raise funds to upgrade the original three radiation bunkers. These upgrades will bring in the latest technology to deliver faster, more precise, and more personalized radiation treatments.
With patient volumes continuing to grow, these advancements will allow the Windsor Regional Cancer Program to meet the demand, reduce wait times, and ensure patients receive the cutting-edge care they need, when they need it most.
$400,000 must be raised in order to make this vision a reality. Your voice and passion are the driving force to kick off this campaign and make this come to fruition.
How to Participate
Encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to team up with you in support of cancer patients in our community. Create a fundraising team here, and throughout the month of November, use fun and creative ways to raise funds and support world class cancer care close to home. Your team can also challenge a competing team to see who can raise the most funds! Earn bragging rights while supporting patients in our community. Maybe you want to host a dance-a-thon or create a human chain with all your supporters? Perhaps raising funds during staff lunches or ‘dress down days’ are what motivates you or your team to raise funds.
So, a little friendly competition (and polite smack-talk of course) is what motivates you! Compete in fun challenges while raising funds.
Maybe you want to challenge yourself (and others) to push-ups for pledges, or stand on one foot for as long as humanly possible? Perhaps you want to host a race, a lip syncing competition, or who can last the longest on the dreaded rowing machine… You are driven by the idea of competing against others knowing that, in the end, all funds stay local and support cancer patients in our community.
